Spinach Cookies



  1. Wheat flour 300 grams
  2. Curd 250 grams
  3. Butter or margarine 200 grams
  4. Salt pinch
  5. Natural yogurt 3-4 tablespoons


  1. Frozen spinach 1 pack
  2. Onion 1 piece
  3. 2 cloves of garlic
  4. Bouillon optional
  5. Pepper to taste
  6. Salt to taste

Rolling pin, cookie molds, plate, frying pan, oven.


Step 1: prepare the filling.

Fry the spinach in a frying pan in oil with the addition of finely chopped onions and garlic. If it is dry, add a little broth. Salt and pepper at the end, and when removed from the heat, cool.

Step 2: prepare the dough.

Sift the flour and mix it on the table with butter (or margarine), cottage cheese and yogurt. Salt and mix well. You should get a homogeneous elastic mass.

Sprinkle the table with flour and roll the dough on it to a thickness 0.5 centimeters.

With the help of the molds, cut out the circles from the dough, and then half of the blanks, make holes in the shape of hearts or stars, or simply round, then how it goes.

Step 3: bake cookies.

Put cookie blanks on a baking sheet and bake in preheated 180 degrees oven for 10 minutes until golden brown.

Cool the finished cookies to room temperature.

Step 4: add the filling.

Put the filling on the cookies and cover the hearts with the top, slightly pressing down. Sprinkle spices and pepper on top. Serve.

Step 5: serve the spinach cookies.

Serve cookies with spinach for a snack or just for tea, it’s not all the sweet to chew. Very tasty! Especially for those who like spinach.
