Plum tartlets

Ingredients for the preparation of tartlets with plums

For the test

  1. Wheat flour 500 grams
  2. Sugar 3 tablespoons
  3. Butter 250 grams
  4. Salt 1 pinch
  5. Egg yolk 1 piece

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the dough.


Grind butter, sift flour, add salt, sugar and cold water. Knead a smooth and completely non-sticky uniform dough.

Divide the finished dough into several parts and fill it with greased tartlet molds. Just pinch off the pieces of the right size, knead them with your fingers and put them in the molds, pressing.

Step 2: bake the tartlets.


Make punctures with a fork so that the dough does not rise and does not swell strongly.
Send the tartlets preheated to 180-190 degrees oven on 15-20 minutesuntil the dough becomes a pretty golden color.

Step 3: bake tartlets with plums.


When the dough is baked, put chopped clean plums in it. It looks very nice if you cut the fruit into thin slices and lay in a circle.
Put a slice of butter and a little brown sugar on the plums.
Increase oven temperature to 210 degrees and send tartlets with plums to it 25 minutes, until the plums are baked. It’s best to follow the process so that nothing accidentally burns out.

Step 4: serve tartlets with plums.
