- Rye rolls (always fresh) 2 pieces
- Smoked bacon a few slices
- Butter optional
- Main ingredients: Bacon, Bread
- Portion 2-4
Frying pan, knife, spatula.
Step 1: chop the rolls.
It is best to take wholemeal buns.
Cut the buns lengthwise into two parts, and then cut each half into non-medium sized cubes.
The crumbs remaining after cutting the buns can be used for breading or for cooking cutlets.
Step 2: chop the bacon.
Cut the bacon into pieces as you like. By the way, especially don’t get carried away with it, bacon is needed to add taste to crackers, and not to kill it, so do not add a lot.
When the buns and bacon are sliced, you can start frying.
Step 3: fry the bacon.
Heat a skillet over a fire and pour bacon into it. Fry over medium heat, allowing the fat to melt.
Add a little butter to the bacon, about a couple of teaspoons. If you add a lot, it will turn out too fat, and the crackers will not fry, but float in the fat, absorbing it. It's not tasty.
Step 4: add the bread.
When the butter has melted, add slices of bread to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutesstirring occasionally.
Add more 1 teaspoon butter and continue cooking all the same over medium heat.
When the butter is melted and absorbed into the bread, the crackers are ready. Well-fried, they are crispy on the outside and soft inside, it is necessary to take fresh bread to create this effect.
Step 5: serve the bacon crackers.
Sprinkle bacon crackers on a tray and let them cool for 10 minutes, you will be surprised, but after that the crackers will become even more crispy, however, if they are left for so long, they will become stiff, therefore, quickly serve the treat to the table and enjoy its amazing taste.
Enjoy your meal!
