Basic Pancake Recipe

Ingredients for Making a Basic Pancake Recipe

  1. Eggs 3 pieces
  2. Salt on the tip of a knife
  3. Wheat flour 280 grams
  4. Milk 500 milliliters
  5. Sugar (if you cook sweet pancakes) 2 tablespoons
  6. Vanilla Sugar (if you make sweet pancakes) 2 sachets

Frying pan, whisk, spatula, fork, plate, ladle.


Step 1: prepare the dough.

Beat eggs first with salt and froth. And if you cook sweet pancakes, then add both types of sugar and mix until it dissolves.

Add flour and mix well to make a uniform dough.
Add milk at the end and mix thoroughly again.

When the dough is smooth, cover it and refrigerate 30 minutes.
Before you start baking pancakes, the chilled dough will need to be thoroughly mixed again.

Step 2: fry the pancakes.

Heat a non-stick skillet and then reduce heat to a minimum. In such a pan you do not need to use oil at all. Otherwise, grease the bottom with a little vegetable oil.
Scoop a little dough and spread it evenly over a heated pan.

Wait for the edge of the pancake to brown.

Pry the pancake around the edges, then carefully turn it over and continue to fry until cooked.
Fold the finished pancakes on top of each other. Optionally grease them with butter.

Step 3: serve the pancakes.

About 12 pancakes are obtained from the indicated amount of dough. You can serve them hot or cold.
