Shakshuka with quail eggs

Ingredients for Making Shakshuki with Quail Eggs

  1. Gogoshar pepper 3 pieces
  2. Bulgarian pepper 2 pieces
  3. Onion 2 pieces
  4. Tomatoes 5 pieces
  5. Quail eggs 8 pieces
  6. Olive oil 4 tablespoons
  7. Hot green pepper 2 pods
  8. Tomato paste 1 teaspoon
  9. 2 cloves of garlic
  10. White wine 250 milliliters
  11. Salt 1 teaspoon
  12. Paprika 1/2 teaspoon
  13. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  14. Sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  15. 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
  16. Grated cheese for serving

Inventory:

Frying pan, grater, kitchen knife, cutting board, spatula.

Cooking:

Step 1: chop the vegetables.


Wash all vegetables. Peel them of seeds, husks, twigs and everything else that prevents you from getting to the pulp.

Cut the sweet peppers into thin strips, onion into small cubes, hot pepper into rings, garlic into small pieces, and chop the tomatoes into tiny pieces. Grate cheese, tear greens or cut with scissors.

Step 2: stew peppers and onions.


Heat oil in a pan and throw onions in it.
When the onion becomes clear, add hot pepper and garlic to it. Roast all together for 1 minutesYou will feel a bright aroma.
Add bell peppers and simmer all together. 3 minutesstirring.

Step 3: add the tomatoes.


Add tomatoes, tomato paste, spices to the peppers and pour in white wine, mix and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add spices to taste (the approximate amount is indicated in the ingredients). The sauce should turn out not sour, a little sweet, spicy and spicy.

Step 4: add the eggs.


Add the eggs very carefully, preferably with a spoon, laying them among vegetables, so as not to damage the yolk.

Cook still 2 minutesso that the protein curls, but the yolk remains liquid.

Step 5: serve shakshuku with quail eggs.


Remove the shakshuku with quail eggs from the heat, sprinkle with grated cheese and herbs, and then serve hot. This is a wonderful breakfast and a hearty lunch, and if you add it to the meat when served, then a wonderful dinner will come out! This dish is especially good obtained from fresh vegetables, freshly picked from the garden. The aroma of peppers and tomatoes is simply unbelievable.
