Quinoa Salad Ingredients
- Quinoa 150 grams
- Canned tuna (pieces) 1 jar
- Bulgarian red pepper 1/2 pieces
- Bulgarian pepper 1/2 pieces
- 1/2 cucumber pieces
- Canned corn 1 jar
- Parsley to taste
- Basil to taste
- Almonds 100 grams
- Butter cubes
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Lemon juice to taste
- Olive oil to taste
- Cherry tomatoes for decoration
- Main ingredients: Tuna, Corn, Cucumber, Pepper
- Serving 4 servings
Saucepan, plate, kitchen knife, cutting board, tablespoon, whisk.
Step 1: Cooking Quinoa
Before boiling quinoa, rinse very well in several waters.
Then pour already clean water, which should be two times more than cereals, and put everything on fire. Cook after boiling for about 15 minutes.
Remove the finished quinoa from the heat, add a little butter, salt, pepper, mix and set to cool at room temperature.
Step 2: prepare the other ingredients.
Rinse the corn with water, rinse all other vegetables and dry them.
Drain the water from the tuna and mash the slices a little with a fork to make them smaller.
Cut the peppers and cucumbers into small cubes, and let them be approximately the same in relation to each other.
Step 3: prepare the sauce.
Finely chop the greens and mix it with lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.
Step 4: prepare the almonds.
Grind almonds with a knife or a mortar, here it is more convenient for you. You can completely leave it whole and just decorate the finished salad with nuts.
Step 5: mix all the ingredients.
Mix all the prepared ingredients for the salad, add dressing, check for salt and pepper. Serve the finished dish to the table.
Step 6: serve quinoa salad with tuna.
To let the salad look appetizing on a plate, it must be served accordingly. I suggest using special molds and beautifully sliced cherry tomatoes for this. That's all! Now your salad is not only tasty and healthy, but also beautiful. Be sure to try it!
