Ingredients for making salad with tuna and crackers
- White bread 2 slices (or ready-made crackers)
- Garlic 1 clove
- Canned tuna in oil 1 can
- Grapefruit (preferably white) 1/2 pieces (only juice is needed)
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Cucumber (large) 1/2 pieces
- Arugula 100-150 grams
- Canned corn 50 grams
- Olive oil to taste
- Salt to taste
- Main ingredients: Tuna, Corn, Cucumber, Tomato, Bread
- Serving 2 servings
Kitchen knife, cutting board, serving plates, sieve.
Step 1: prepare the ingredients.
Rinse all vegetables, including corn (flip it on a sieve and just rinse, then leave to drain). Then peel and chop the cucumbers, chop the tomatoes and mash a little tuna with a fork.
Rinse the arugula and pat dry with napkins.
Step 2: make crackers.
Cut the edges off the bread and fry it with a little oil in a pan until browned on both sides. Rub hot bread with a clove of garlic, and then cut it into small cubes.
You can also bake bread in the oven by pouring it with a small amount of oil. Just do not dry, crackers should remain soft from the inside.
Step 3: mix the ingredients.Spread the salad immediately in portions. Take a couple of plates and lay the arugula on them. Then crackers, tomatoes, cucumbers, tuna and corn on top.
Salt to taste, mix grapefruit juice with vegetable oil and pour the resulting salad dressing.
Garnish with slices of tomatoes or cucumbers on top, this is optional, and serve.
Step 4: serve the salad with tuna and crackers.
Serve tuna and crackers as a main course. Any time of the day. You can start the day with it, have a wonderful breakfast, or you can end it by eating a light salad for dinner.
