Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.

Peel and rinse the potatoes. Rinse and green onions.

Step 2: three potatoes.

Grate the potatoes on a fine grater. And then you need to squeeze the potatoes and drain the allocated juice. You can use gauze for this, wrap grated potatoes in it and squeeze it, or you can just push it by hand.

Step 3: chop the onion.

Cut the green onion into rings, and we need the green part.

Step 4: mix potatoes with onions.

Mix grated potatoes with chopped green onions. Add pepper and salt to taste.

Remember that potatoes take quite a lot of salt. But be careful, it is better to salting than salting. After all, you can always add salt to the finished dish, but it will not work to remove it.

Step 5: fry the hash brown.

Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan, literally 1 tablespoon.
Put the potato mass in a preheated pan with a spoon. Do not make the hash brown thick, as you run the risk of getting unroasted potatoes inside. It is not all in one pan, it’s better to leave it on the second run.

Wait until the potato is covered with a golden brown underneath and grabs. To do this, prepare a hash brown 3-4 minutes over high heat.
Then you need to carefully turn it over, for this, pry the potato cake with a spatula, cover the pan with a plate and carefully, but quickly turn it over so that the hash brown is in the plate. You can also just flip potatoes with a wide spatula. The main thing is not to let him fall apart.

Continue frying the zashbrown with a little more vegetable oil. Fry over medium heat until cooked (that is, about 3-4 minutes more).

Step 6: serve the hash brown.

Put the finished hash brown on a cutting board and divide into four parts with a knife.

Serve as a separate dish or as an appetizer, be sure to add various sauces: sour cream, mayonnaise, tomato or garlic sauce.
Great for a large company, just cook a few hashbrows, not just one.
Enjoy your meal!
