Salmon and Broccoli Pie Ingredients

Step 1: prepare the dough.


Mix the salted sifted flour with cold diced butter. Knead with a fork until you get crumbs. Then gradually add cold water and continue kneading until you get a uniform dough. Roll the dough into a ball, pack it in plastic wrap and send it to the refrigerator. Leave on 30 minutes.

Step 2: prepare the filling.


Melt the butter in a pan and send it to the broccoli, divided into inflorescences, chopped onions in small cubes, red fish fillet, sliced ​​in medium sized pieces, and garlic. Stir, salt, add finely chopped spinach and cook under the lid for 10 minutes.

Remove everything from heat and let cool at room temperature.

Step 3: bake the base.


Smear the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour, and then put cold dough into it, forming high sides at the edges.
Pierce the dough with a fork over the entire area.

Spread baking parchment onto the dough and sprinkle beans or peas on top (this is necessary so that the cake does not rise) and send it to the preheated 180 degrees oven on 15 minutes.

Step 4: add the filling.


While the base is baking, mix the cooled filling with grated mozzarella.

When the dough is baked, remove the parchment from it along with beans or peas and put the filling of broccoli and salmon.

Beat the eggs separately and fill the resulting mixture with the filling.

Put the cake in the hot oven. Bake at temperature 180 degrees during 40-45 minutesuntil the filling grasps and turns red.
