Pork in orange sauce

Ingredients for Cooking Pork in Orange Sauce

  1. Pork 4 slices
  2. Orange 2 pieces
  3. Onion 1 piece (medium size)
  4. Olive oil to taste
  5. Seasoning universal / salt to taste
  6. Ground black pepper to taste
  • Main ingredients: Pork, Orange
  • Serving 2 servings

Inventory:

Bakeware, foil, juicer, kitchen knife, cutting board.

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the pork.

It is better to take pork with fats, a neck, for example, then it definitely will not work dry. Cut it into thin slices and dry with towels, eliminating excess moisture on top.

Step 2: squeeze the orange juice.

Rinse the oranges and squeeze the juice out of them. There is no juicer, then cut the fruit into halves and just crush them, piercing the flesh with a knife or fork.

Step 3: pour the juice into the meat.

Place the pork slices in a ceramic pan and pour a small amount of vegetable (I have olive) oil.
Cut the onions into plump rings and place on meat and in a baking sheet.
Pour freshly squeezed orange juice, sprinkle the meat with pepper and a universal seasoning or salt to taste.

Step 4: bake pork in orange sauce.

Cover the form with meat foil and send everything to the preheated oven on 40-45 minutes. And so that the pork is covered with a pleasant golden crust after baking, remove the foil and leave the meat in the oven for another 15-20 minutes. But if you are not a fan of fried pork, then continue cooking without removing the foil from the pan.

Step 5: Serve the pork in orange sauce.

Pork baked in orange sauce should be served hot immediately after cooking. As a side dish, rice, mashed potatoes or crispy fries are suitable. Serve the meat with onions and the sauce in which it was cooked. The aroma is amazing, the taste too.
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- You can also add a little mustard and / or garlic and liquid honey to the orange sauce. This will give the meat an extra aroma and taste.
