Crispy Fried Onion Ingredients

  1. Onion 1 piece (large)
  2. Wheat flour 1 tablespoon
  3. Salt 1 pinch
  4. Oil about 0.5 liters

Step 1: chop the onion.

Peel the onion and cut into cubes or very thin straws.

Step 2: mix the onion with flour and salt.

Combine the flour and salt in a bag, and then throw the onions there, tie and shake several times.
Throw the onions afterwards onto a sieve or colander and shake to remove excess flour.

Step 3: fry crispy onions.

Heat the oil in a pan and, when it becomes very hot, send the onions into it. Cook over low heat, stirring often, to a delicious golden crust. To properly fry the onion, you need, as a rule, 20-25 minutes.
After, put the onions on a paper towel and pat dry to remove excess oil.

Step 4: Serve the crispy fried onions.

Store crispy fried onions in a glass jar with a tight lid. Use it for cooking various dishes or as a crispy snack.
