Ingredients for making chicken roll with pepper and cheese.
- Chicken fillet 2 pieces
- Bulgarian red pepper 4 strips
- Cheese 8 slices
- Eggs 2 pieces
- Wheat flour 6 tablespoons (approximately)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper (mixture) to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Main ingredients: Pepper, Chicken, Cheese
- Serving 4 servings
Frying pan, hammer, cutting board, kitchen knife, spatula.
Step 1: beat off the fillet.
First, each chicken fillet must be divided into two parts along, and then beat off each piece. So that the meat does not stick to the hammer and does not tear, cover it with cling film.
Pepper chicken and salt to taste, you can also add aromatic herbs and other spices if desired. Leave the chicken in spices at room temperature (only if not hot) for 10 minutes.
Step 2: add the filling.
Cheese can be taken hard or melted, the main thing is that it is cut into thin slices. Put the cheese slices on top of the chicken chop, and then put a slice of pepper on the cheese. Carefully roll everything into a roll so that the cheese and pepper are inside.
Step 3: fry the chicken roll with pepper and cheese.
Heat the oil in a pan.
Take one of the chicken rolls, dip it first in the flour, then in the egg, then again in the flour and put in the pan. Do the same with the other rolls.
Fry everything until golden brown on all sides for about 6-7 minutes. The main thing is that there is enough oil, and that the rolls do not touch each other, but lie freely in the pan.
Dip the finished rolls with a paper towel to remove excess fat and serve.
Step 4: serve chicken roll with pepper and cheese.
Chicken rolls need to be served hot, while the cheese inside is melted. This is a great appetizer and hearty hot meal. As a side dish, it is best to choose some light vegetable salad. You can also offer sauce, garlic or tomato to rolls.
Enjoy your meal!
- Instead of fresh pepper, you can put pickled inside the roll.
