Feta Broccoli Salad

Ingredients for Making Broccoli Salad with Feta Cheese

For salad

  1. Broccoli 1 piece (fresh)
  2. Feta Cheese 150 grams
  3. Sunflower seeds (peeled) 60 grams

For refueling

  1. Mayonnaise 2 teaspoons
  2. Natural yogurt 4 tablespoons
  3. 2 cloves of garlic
  4. Salt to taste

Cooking:

Step 1: Cook Broccoli


Rinse the broccoli well and disassemble them into large inflorescences, cutting them off the common stem with a knife. Send the cabbage into slightly salted water and cook until soft for several minutes.
After cooking, discard broccoli in a colander, thereby draining excess fluid, and then cool the cabbage.

Step 2: chop the cheese.


While broccoli is being cooked and cooled, cut feta cheese into small cubes.

Step 3: fry the seeds.


Fry the seeds in a dry frying pan until golden brown. Cook them without leaving the stove, otherwise you will miss it, and you will have bitter and overcooked seeds. Remember to stir often too.

Step 4: preparing a gas station.


When all other salad ingredients are ready, start dressing. To cook it, mix yogurt with mayonnaise, crush or rub a clove of garlic here and add salt. Mix everything very well.

Step 5: serve broccoli salad with feta cheese.


Spread the salad immediately in portions over the layers. First broccoli, then feta cheese and dressing, then again broccoli, cheese and dressing from above. Let the salad stand 5-10 minutesthen sprinkle it with the fried sunflower seeds and serve.
