Ingredients for making buckwheat with chicken and vegetables

  8. Ground pepper to taste

Cooking:

Step 1: boil buckwheat.


I wash buckwheat and then boil in a sufficiently large amount of salted water until soft, that is, for 20-25 minutes. I just drain the excess water after cooking. Thus, the cereal does not burn and does not get overcooked.

Step 2: fry the onions.


While buckwheat is being cooked, you have time to stew the vegetables. First, fry finely chopped white onion and red onion in feathers in hot oil. Fry over medium heat until clear, stirring frequently.

Step 3: fry the vegetables.


Add the grated carrots and chopped bell peppers to the onion. Toast for 5-6 minutesstirring the same way.

Step 4: add buckwheat and chicken to the vegetables.


Add finely chopped boiled chicken to the vegetables. You can also add sliced ​​sausages, if desired, but this is optional. Season with salt, pepper and paprika, mix and fry for a couple of minutes.
At the very end, add boiled buckwheat, wait until it is heated in a pan, and remove everything from the heat.
