Lentil and potato patties

Ingredients for cooking lentil and potato patties

  1. Cooked lentils 400 grams
  2. Egg 1 piece
  3. Onions (scalded with boiling water) 1 piece
  4. 2 cloves of garlic
  5. Potato (boiled) 1 piece (large size)
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Ground black pepper to taste
  8. Paprika or Caines pepper to taste
  9. Breadcrumbs 2 tablespoons
  10. Olive oil 3 tablespoons
  11. Parsley (fresh) to taste

Frying pan, tablespoon, kitchen knife, cutting board.

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the minced meat from lentils and potatoes.


Mix in a deep plate boiled until ready lentils, eggs, chopped (you can grated) garlic, chopped onion and soaked in boiling water and finely chopped boiled potatoes. Crush parsley there, salt everything, pepper and add either sweet paprika or red hot pepper.
Mix everything together very well, cover and refrigerate 30 minutes, about.

Step 2: fry the lentil and potato patties.


Heat the pan with oil.
Wetting your hands periodically in water, form cutlets and roll each in breadcrumbs, and then send to the skillet.
Fry over 5 minutes on each side.
After frying, pat the patties with paper towels (napkins) to remove excess fat, and you can serve the dish to the table!

Step 3: serve the lentil and potato patties.


Serve the lentil and potato patties hot. They are satisfying and rich in protein and other nutrients. Serve them as a standalone dish, or as a side dish. You can add sauce to them, for example, tomato.
