Spinach Buckwheat Ingredients
- Buckwheat groats 100 grams
- Red onion 1 piece
- Olive oil 2 tablespoons
- Carrot 1 piece (large)
- Celery (stem) 1 piece
- Spinach (fresh) 100 grams
- Grated cheese (parmesan) for serving
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste

Frying pan, spatula, kitchen knife, cutting board, pan.
Step 1: fry the onions.
Immediately put the buckwheat to boil in salted water. We need cereals cooked to the state of al dente.
Heat oil in a pan and fry until soft and transparent. Put the onions in a plate.
Step 2: stew the carrots.
Send the carrots into the same skillet, cut into large, but thin slices, adding more vegetable oil, if necessary.
Stew carrots over medium heat for 15-20 minutesuntil it becomes completely soft.
Step 3: add the spinach.
Now it’s the turn of celery, crumble it and add it to the pan. Cook 5 minutes.
Add thinly sliced spinach to carrots and celery. Stir and simmer all together for another 2 minutes.
Step 4: add buckwheat.
To the carrots stewed with spinach and celery, add fried onions and boiled buckwheat. Salt, pepper, mix well. Warm everything in a pan for a couple of minutes and serve.
Step 5: serve buckwheat with spinach.
Transfer buckwheat with spinach to plates, sprinkle it with grated cheese on top and enjoy the taste of healthy food. This healthy, hearty and original dish will be the perfect dinner. And if you remove the cheese, then you can cook such buckwheat and to a lean table.
