Georgian Chicken Hearts

Ingredients

  1. Chicken hearts 500 g
  2. Onions 80 g
  3. Pomegranate 1/4 pcs.
  4. Garlic 10 g
  5. Salt 1 tsp
  6. Ground black pepper 1/3 tsp
  7. Ground coriander 1/3 tsp
  8. Fresh cilantro 5 g
  9. Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
  10. Water 100 ml
  11. Butter 30 g

Step 1.

Finely chop onion, garlic and cilantro.

Step 2

Preheat the pan with 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, put onions and fry for 2 minutes over medium heat.

Step 3

Add garlic and fry for another 1 minute.

Step 4

Add washed chicken hearts, salt, pepper, coriander and mix.

Step 5

Add 100 ml of water and bring to a boil, close the lid and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.

Step 6

Add butter, melt while stirring and add fresh cilantro. Turn off the fire.

Step 7

Put chicken hearts in a serving plate and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.
