Ingredients for Cooking Liver in Bacon

The main

  1. Bacon (smoked) 12 thin slices
  2. Chicken liver 12 pieces
  3. Light beer 1 glass
  4. Mustard (spicy) 3 tablespoons
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Marjoram 1 tablespoon

  1. Zucchini (young) 1 piece
  2. Tomatoes 1-2 small pieces
  3. Savory to taste
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Butter to greens to taste

Grill, deep plate, toothpicks, brush, kitchen knife, cutting board, paper towels.

Cooking:

Step 1: pickle the liver in beer.


Rinse the chicken liver, clean it carefully, transfer to a deep plate and fill it with beer. Leave the liver to marinate in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours.
After the time for pickling has passed, drain the beer and sprinkle the liver with marjoram and salt. Mix gently.

Step 2: wrap the liver in bacon.


Wrap each liver in a slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks so that it does not turn around.

Cover the bacon with hot mustard with a brush.

Step 3: chop the vegetables.


Rinse zucchini and tomatoes well and pat dry with paper towels.
Cut the zucchini into thick slices, and cut the cross on the tomatoes crosswise.
Sprinkle the vegetables with savory and salt. Tomatoes are only on top, and zucchini circles are on all sides.

Step 4: fry the liver in bacon and vegetables.


Prepare everything for grilling. And put the bacon liver on the wire rack. Fry until bacon is crispy. And check the readiness of the liver by piercing it with a knife: if the juice is transparent, then it is baked.
Be careful and do not overdo the liver on the grill, otherwise it will be stiff.

Bake the vegetables right there on the grill nearby. Turning over at the same time as the liver.
Everything is prepared very quickly, it will take you less than ten minutes for each side.

Step 5: serve the liver in bacon.
