Deep-Fried Ingredients

Step 1: chop the fish fillet.

You can take fillet of absolutely any sea fish, the main thing is that it should be fleshy and without small bones.
Rinse the selected filet and pat it with paper towels. Then cut lengthwise in half.

Now cut the fillet across so that you get a lot of small pieces.

Salt and pepper the chopped fish fillet.

Step 2: prepare the batter.

In a bowl, mix starch with rye flour and bran. Salt to taste.

Pour out cold water gradually, stirring the resulting dough. As a result, you should get the same density as on pancakes.
Do not pour all the water at once, and also place a glass next to it to pour during cooking, as the mass quickly thickens, it must be diluted periodically.

Step 3: deep-fry the fish.

Throw the first batch of fillet into the batter so that it covers the fish on all sides.

Heat oil in a pan or deep fryer until 180 degrees and dip in it the fish fillet in batter. Fry until golden brown for a few minutes.
After frying, catch the first batch with a slotted spoon and send it on paper towels to get rid of excess fat. At the same time, dip the next batch of fillet into the oil.

Step 4: Serve the deep-fried fish.

Serve deep-fried fish is better than hot. As a side dish, something light and crunchy is suitable, for example, a juicy salad of fennel and herbs, as well as remoulade sauce. Serving this dish at a party, stick a skewer into each piece so that guests can eat fish without getting their hands dirty.
