Skewers with cheese and sausage


  1. Flour 350 gr
  2. Cheese 250 gr
  3. Sausage or ham 100 gr
  4. Kefir 240 gr
  5. Butter 60 gr
  6. Baking powder 10 gr
  7. Salt 1/4 tsp

Step 1 - Preparation of the test.

Add baking powder to flour and sift into a deep bowl. Add salt and mix. Add room temperature butter and mix by hand until crumbs form.

Step 2 - Preparing the filling.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater (you can use any cheese, for example, suluguni) and finely chop the sausage or ham. Send the cheese and sausage to the dry ingredients and mix well.

Step 3 - Cook the skones.

Add kefir, mix with a spoon, and then with your hands. Sprinkle the table with flour and knead the dough a little, it will turn out a bit sticky. Divide the dough into two parts. Form a ball from each and roll it into a 1.5–2 cm thick cake. Put two cakes on a baking sheet, greased with vegetable oil, and divide each cake into 8 parts using a pastry knife or a regular kitchen knife.

Step 4 - Bake.

Lubricate each con with kefir using a silicone brush and put in the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 200-210 degrees.

Step 5 - Done!
