Potato zrazy with minced meat


For the basics

  1. Boiled potatoes 1.1 kg
  2. Flour 5 tbsp. l
  3. Eggs 1 pc.
  4. Butter 30 g
  5. Turmeric pinch

For filling

  1. Minced meat 150 g
  2. Onions 1 pc.
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Greenery bunch
  5. Zira to taste
  6. Pepper to taste

For breading

  1. Eggs 1 pc.
  2. Flour 100 g
  3. Breadcrumbs 100 g

Step 1 - Potato mass.

Add the butter and about a quarter teaspoon of turmeric (optional) to the boiled potato and mash. Then the potatoes need to cool slightly and add a raw egg to it. Mix well. Add the flour and mix everything again to make the mass homogeneous.

Step 2 - Stuffing.

Add the chopped onion and chopped herbs, salt and spices to the minced meat. Mix everything.

Step 3 - Form Zrazy.

With wet hands, start forming zrazy by wrapping the minced meat in the potato mass. Roll the formed zrazy in flour. After that, dip the zrazy in the egg and roll in breadcrumbs.

Step 4 - Fry.

Pour a little vegetable oil into the pan and lay out the zrazy. Fry them on both sides over low heat until golden brown to fry the meat inside. Zrazy are ready! Enjoy your meal.
