Young Cabbage Casserole


  1. Cabbage 700 gr.
  2. Bulgur 100 gr.
  3. Eggs 3 pcs.
  4. Hard cheese 120 gr.
  5. Onion 1 pc.
  6. 1 carrot
  7. Caraway seeds 1/4 tsp
  8. Flaxseed 1 tsp
  9. Dill 1 bunch
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Black pepper to taste
  12. Vegetable cooking oil to taste

Finely chop the cabbage, salt and mash with your hands. Boil bulgur until cooked, it can be replaced with rice or buckwheat.

In a pan with a small amount of vegetable oil, fry the onions and carrots until soft.

To the cabbage add chopped dill, boiled bulgur, grated hard cheese, eggs, fried onions and carrots, cumin, pepper, salt to taste. Mix everything.

Distribute the cabbage mass in a uniform layer on the baking dish, pre-lubricating it with butter. Hand make indentations. Sprinkle with flax seeds or sesame seeds on top. Send to the oven, preheated to 180 * C, at an average level, cook 40-45 minutes. Serving casserole with sour cream. Enjoy your meal!
