- Wheat flour 200 grams
- Baking powder for dough 2 teaspoons
- Butter 30 grams
- Sugar 1/2 cup
- Apricots 15-20 pieces
- Main IngredientsApricot, Butter, Flour, Sugar
Mixer, baking dish, frying pan, spatula, kitchen knife, tablespoon.
Step 1: knead the dough.
Put the butter in advance so that it softens a little at room temperature. Add sugar (plain and vanilla) to it and beat well to a creamy consistency.
Then add the eggs to the butter. Add one at a time, thoroughly mixing the mass after each.
After eggs, add milk and wheat flour mixed with baking powder to the dough.
The result should be a fairly liquid homogeneous dough.
Step 2: caramelize apricots.
Lubricate the cake pan with butter.
Cut the apricots in half and remove the seeds.
In 30 grams of butter, melt half a glass of sugar, heating everything over low heat. Cook everything until you get a light brown caramel. Put apricot halves in this caramel and mix well.
Remove the caramelized apricots from the heat and lay them on the bottom of the baking dish.
Step 3: pour the dough into the mold.
Put the batter on top of the apricots. Even out. Fruit slices should be completely covered.
Step 4: bake a flip flop with apricots.
Bake a pie when 180 degrees during 30-40 minutes.
Ready dough will get a golden brown. And to check for sure, pierce the cake with a toothpick, if at the exit it is dry and without pieces of dough, then everything is ready.
Step 5: Serve the Changeling Pie with Apricots.
Turn the cake on a plate, taking it out of shape.
Garnish with icing sugar as desired and wait for it to cool.
Cut cooled apricot pie into portions and serve with tea or milk. Homemade cakes are always delicious and aromatic!
Enjoy your meal!
