American sweet croutons


  1. 4 slices of toast bread
  2. 2 eggs
  3. Milk 100 ml
  4. Brown sugar 1 tbsp
  5. Cinnamon 1 tsp
  6. Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  7. Butter 50 g
  8. Sunflower oil 2-3 tbsp

Step 1: prepare the egg mixture.

To prepare, cut slices of toast bread in half diagonally.

Beat eggs with brown sugar.

Add cinnamon and vanilla essence, whisk everything again.

Add warm (but not hot) milk and continue to mix until smooth so that all the sugar has dissolved.

Step 2: Fry American Sweet Croutons.

Dip the slices of bread alternately in the egg mass, then lay them in a heated skillet.

Melt the butter in a pan, mixing it with vegetable oil, and fry the croutons until golden brown on both sides. Sauté on medium or low heat.
