Fried potato with tomato

Ingredients

  1. Potato 5 pcs.
  2. Onion 1 pc.
  3. Tomato 1 pc. (big)
  4. Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
  5. Butter 1 tsp
  6. Garlic 1 clove
  7. Fresh basil several leaves
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Pepper to taste

Inventory:

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the potatoes.


Peel and rinse the potatoes well.

Cut the potatoes into 6-8 parts to make quite large slices in the shape of boats.

Sprinkle potatoes with salt and pepper and mix.

Step 2: fry the potatoes.


Heat the oil in a frying pan, dip the potatoes into it, add the butter and fry. Cook over medium heat under a lid, stirring occasionally.

Fry for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.

Step 3: chop the onions and tomatoes.


At the same time, crumble the onions with feathers, and peel the tomato from the watery part with the seeds and cut into medium-sized pieces.

Step 4: add onions and tomatoes to the potatoes.


Add onions to the potatoes and fry under the lid for more 5-6 minutes.
Add the slices of tomato, add some salt and cook the same under the lid for 15 minutes. Remember to stir occasionally.
When the potatoes are almost ready, add chopped garlic to the pan, mix. Remove from heat, add basil and you can serve!
