Greek rustic salad

Ingredients

  1. Tomatoes a few pieces
  2. Cucumber 1 pc.
  3. Red onion 1 pc.
  4. Green pepper 1 pc.
  5. Feta cheese 200 gr.
  6. Handful black olives
  7. Dried oregano to taste
  8. Extra virgin olive oil to taste
  9. Wine vinegar to taste
  10. Pepper to taste
  11. Sea salt to taste

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the vegetables.


All vegetables should be at room temperature, and do not store vegetables in the refrigerator, there they lose their taste!

Rinse all vegetables and wipe with paper towels. Cut tomatoes into pieces of arbitrary shape and size.

Cut the onion into rings.

Peel all or part of the cucumber and cut into arbitrary pieces.

Cut the pepper into half rings.

Step 2: season the Greek village salad.


Put all the chopped vegetables on a plate, salt and sprinkle with pepper. Sprinkle oregano and add olives. Necessarily black and necessarily with bone.

Add some wine vinegar and olive oil. Mix well.
Arrange the salad on a serving plate and place a piece of feta cheese (approximately 100 g per person) on top of each serving. Sprinkle oregano for beauty.

Step 3: serve the Greek village salad.


Greek village salad ready! It should be at room temperature and cooked immediately before serving. Do not cool it!
