Stewed carrots with cucumbers


  1. Carrots 6-8 pcs. (young)
  2. Cucumbers 3 pcs.
  3. Onion 1 pc.
  4. Garlic 1 pc.
  5. Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
  6. Butter 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Pepper to taste
  9. Dried parsley to taste

Step 1: chop the vegetables.

Peel the carrots, rinse the cucumbers well. Peel the onions and garlic.

Cut the carrots into circles. Cucumbers cut a quarter into circles.

Cut the onion into small cubes.

Step 2: fry the onions.

Heat the vegetable oil and fry the onion in it.

Cook over medium heat until golden brown.
Add the chopped clove of garlic and fry another 1 minute.

Step 3: add the carrots.

Add carrots and a teaspoon of butter. Salt. Fry over low heat for 10 minutes.

Step 4: add the cucumbers.

Add cucumbers and dried dill. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Add salt and pepper to taste and serve!

Step 5: serve the stewed carrots with cucumbers.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve as a side dish. It is very tasty and really worth a try.
