Smoked salmon and horseradish tart

Ingredients for making tart with smoked salmon and horseradish


  1. Wheat flour 250 grams
  2. Butter 82% 100 grams
  3. Sour cream 18% 2 tablespoons
  4. Egg yolk 1 piece

Baking dish, kitchen knife, foil, oven, cutting board.


Step 1: prepare the dough.

Combine the sifted wheat flour with cold diced butter. You should get loose lumps.

Add the yolk to sour cream and salt. Knead a homogeneous shortcrust pastry with your hands.

Roll the resulting mass into a ball and send it to the refrigerator for 40 minutes. Cover the dough or wrap it with foil so that the mass does not air.

Step 2: prepare the filling.

Combine the eggs with sour cream, horseradish, tomato flakes, salt and pepper. Beat until smooth.
Finely chop the green onions and chili peppers (you can remove the seeds from it if desired), and then sprinkle the vegetables into the egg mass. Shuffle.

Step 3: bake the dough.

Roll the cold dough into a very thin pancake.

Cover the pan with foil or parchment paper. Put the dough on top and make punctures on it with a fork over the entire area.

Bake in a preheated oven when 180 degrees during 15 minutes.

Step 4: fill the filling.

Pour the egg mass with vegetables into the baked dough. And add finely chopped smoked salmon here, evenly distributing the pieces of fish in the filling.

Step 5: bake tart with smoked salmon and horseradish.
