Ingredients for Cooking Quick Cucumber Marinade
- Cucumbers 2 pieces
- Vinegar 5% 1/2 cup
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Chili pepper flakes 1 pinch
- Main Ingredients
- Serving 1 serving
Grater, jar, plate, spoon.
Step 1: prepare the cucumbers.
Wash the cucumbers first very well.
Cut off the "butt" so as not to bitter.
Step 2: chop the cucumbers.
For really thin slices of cucumbers, you will need a special grater.
Use it to rub the cucumbers in circles.
Step 3: pickle the cucumbers.
Transfer chopped cucumbers to a deep plate.
Pour in the vinegar.
And mix everything very well with your hands.
Stir until salt and sugar dissolve.
Add chili flakes.
And again, mix everything thoroughly.
You will see that a lot of liquid will be released from the cucumbers. We need it all.
Step 4: put the pickles in a jar.
Prepare a clean, small jar with a lid.
Put cucumbers in it.
And top them with the remaining marinade mixed with cucumber juice.
Close the jar with a lid and gently shake. Remove the cucumbers to pickle in the refrigerator for several hours, or better for a day.
Step 5: Serve the pickled cucumbers quickly.
Quick pickled cucumbers are served in the same way as pickled cucumbers in the usual way. This is a tasty appetizer and a cool addition to the main dishes, as well as a great ingredient for making sandwiches.
Enjoy your meal!
- Such cucumbers are well stored in the refrigerator for several weeks.
