Salmon in Puff Pastry

Ingredients for Cooking Salmon in Puff Pastry

  1. Salmon fillet 1 piece
  2. Puff pastry optional (depending on filet size)
  3. Lemon 1 piece
  4. Garlic to taste
  5. Bulgarian pepper 1/3 pieces
  6. Cream cheese 2 triangles
  7. Fresh dill to taste
  8. Egg 1 piece
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Pepper to taste

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the fillet.


Cut the salmon fillet with a knife from the skin, wipe with towels, salt and pepper to taste. Pour in lemon juice. And let the fish stand for a while, pickle a little at room temperature, and at the same time you prepare the filling.

Step 2: prepare the filling.


Cut the dill very finely, and grate the garlic.

Pour the cheese with lemon juice, add dill and salt, if necessary, as well as grated garlic, and mash the mass with a fork, turning everything into a homogeneous mixture.

Chop the bell pepper into cubes.

Step 3: wrap the salmon fillet in the dough.


Put the salmon filet on the rectangle of puff pastry.

Put the cheese mass on top of the fish.

And add chopped bell pepper.

Wrap the fish with the filling in the dough completely, making top cuts from edge to edge obliquely.
Beat the egg and grease the top of the dough and sides with it.

Step 4: bake salmon in puff pastry.


Bake salmon in puff pastry at temperature 180 degrees about 40 minutes. Make sure that the dough does not start to burn, for this put the baking sheet in the middle of the oven.

Step 5: serve the salmon in puff pastry.


Salmon in puff pastry should be eaten hot. It is very tasty, the fish remains juicy, and the dough in which it is baked turns fragrant and soft.
