Cooking strudel with apples and nuts:

Step 1: prepare the filling.


Rinse apples, peel and seed, and then cut into thin slices.

Combine apples, nuts, wheat flour, sugar, and ground cinnamon in a deep bowl.

Expand a layer of puff pastry and roll it into a rectangle.
Spread apples and nuts in the middle. And along the long sides, make cuts in the direction from the filling to the edge.

Now grab the notched ends one by one and fold them to the filling so that the left and right are intertwined. In the end, you get a simple braid with a filling inside.

Beat the egg and grease the strudel on top.
Transfer your workpiece to a greased or baked parchment baking sheet. Then send everything preheated to 175 degrees oven and cook for 20 minutesuntil the dough is browned.
