Duck breast with rice and mushrooms

Cooking:

Step 1: chop the duck.


Take a large duck breast and cleanse it of skin and bones. Save your skin, by the way, useful duck fat can be drowned out of it.

Cut the poultry into medium-sized cubes.

Step 2: fry the carrots.


Melt some duck fat in a pan and fry the peeled and sliced ​​carrots in it. Fry until golden, then transfer it to a plate.

Step 3: fry the duck.


Put duck meat in a free pan and cook until golden brown on all sides.

Then add carrots and chopped garlic. Continue cooking, stirring until garlic gives a bright aroma.

Add flour and fry until it changes color and is saturated with fat.

Step 4: stew the duck.


Pour in water, add spices and salt. Cover and simmer over low heat until the sauce is thick and most of the water has evaporated.

Step 5: stew the mushrooms.


Cut the peeled mushrooms into small pieces and fry in a small amount of oil. Add some water and simmer the mushrooms under the lid over medium heat until cooked, that is, until the poured water has evaporated.

Step 6: prepare the vegetables.


Pepper and cut into small cubes.
Dip broccoli in boiling water on 2-3 minutes, then recline in a colander and cool with cold running water. Cut boiled broccoli into small pieces.

Step 7: prepare the rice.


Boil the rice in salted water, halve it and mix it with vegetables and mushrooms. You will have two different types of side dishes to choose from. In case someone from the family or guests does not like mushrooms.

Step 8: serve duck breast with rice and mushrooms.


Put the rice stuffing on a plate and lay on it the duck breast stewed in the sauce with carrots and garlic. It turns out a great dish! Use special molds to make everything look beautiful and attractive. Serve hot.
