Ingredients for Cooking Liver with Mushrooms
- Champignons 400 grams
- Chicken liver 760 grams
- Onion 1 piece
- Dried marjoram to taste
- Dried lovage to taste
- Dried parsley to taste
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Sour cream 18% 2 tablespoons
- Water 1/2 cup
- Flour optional
- Vegetable oil optional

A pair of pans, a spatula, a kitchen knife, a cutting board, a tablespoon.
Step 1: fry the mushrooms.
Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan. Peel the onion, cut it into cubes and fry until golden.
While the onions are fried, rinse the mushrooms and cut them into thin slices.
Add mushrooms to the onion and cook over high heat until the water evaporates.
Step 2: fry the liver.
Wash the liver properly, dry it. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and then roll in flour.
In a clean frying pan, fry the liver in oil over medium heat until golden brown.
Add mushrooms with onions to the liver, mix.
Add sour cream, dried herbs and water, mix again and simmer all together until tender. Just a few minutes, since our liver should have already been fried. Just make sure it is not damp inside.
Serve the liver with mushrooms hot. It is possible with a side dish or just with bread. Garnish with fresh green onions and enjoy a delicious and satisfying meal.
