Salad with Tuna and Pickles

Ingredients for Salad with Tuna and Pickles

  1. Rice 200 grams (ready)
  2. Eggs 3 pieces
  3. Pickled or pickled cucumbers a few pieces
  4. Pickled pepper 1 piece
  5. Tuna in its own juice 2 cans
  6. Greek mayonnaise or yogurt 3 tablespoons
  7. Pepper to taste
  8. Salt to taste

Step 1: cook rice.

Cook rice or take it cooked last night, but not eaten for some reason. I know that sometimes happens with a side dish.

Step 2: chop the cucumbers.

Cut the cucumbers into small cubes and drain the released liquid.

Step 3: chop the pepper.

Cut pickled peppers into strips and, just like cucumbers, you must drain the brine from them.

Step 4: Cook the eggs.

Hard-boiled eggs, cool and peel. After cut them into cubes.

Step 5: chop the tuna.

Mash the tuna with a fork, without draining the liquid.

Step 6: mix the ingredients.

In a large plate, mix cucumbers, peppers, rice, tuna and eggs. Salt and pepper the salad to taste.

Add dressing, which may be mayonnaise or Greek yogurt. You can also mix Greek yogurt with mayonnaise or mayonnaise with sour cream, it's all to your taste.
Mix well the resulting salad, check if there is enough salt and pepper.

Step 7: serve a salad with tuna and pickles.

You can keep the salad in the fridge a little to make it colder, or you can serve it right away. The salad turns out to be satisfying, so serve it separately, or on the holiday table, decorating with fresh herbs.
