Salad with Herring and Peas

Ingredients for Salad with Herring and Peas

  1. Canned peas 200 grams
  2. Salted herring fillet 4 pieces
  3. Boiled beets 4 pieces
  4. Boiled eggs 2 pieces
  5. Onion 1 piece
  6. Sour cream 18% 200 grams
  7. Mayonnaise 150 grams
  8. Green onions to taste
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Pepper to taste

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


Peel and grate beets on a medium grater. Rinse the peas. Rinse the herring as well, then dry it with paper towels and cut into small cubes.

Peel and grate boiled eggs as well.
Chop onions finely. Then put it in a plate and pour boiling water over it. Let cool slightly and drain.

Step 2: preparing a gas station.


Mix sour cream with mayonnaise and add salt and pepper to taste here. Mix well again to get a uniform dressing.

Step 3: collect the layers of lettuce.


Prepare the salad either in one large plate or immediately in portions (the second is preferred).
The first layer is beets, put herring on it and coat with dressing. Then onions, peas and eggs.

Garnish each serving or top of the salad with finely chopped green onions.

Step 4: serve salad with herring and peas.


Serve the herring and peas salad immediately after cooking. This is a simple dish, consisting of ingredients familiar to us, but it is not in this form that you will often find this combination on our tables, because your guests will be pleasantly surprised by the originality of the served dish.
