Ingredients for Making Carrot Pancakes

  1. Carrot 600 grams
  2. Wheat flour 2 tablespoons
  3. Egg 1 piece
  4. Green onion (chopped) 5 tablespoons
  5. Baking powder for dough 1 pinch
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Ground black pepper to taste
  8. Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking carrot pancakes:

Step 1: rub the carrots.


Peel the carrots and grate on a fine grater. Squeeze the juice so that the pancakes are strong and not watery.

Step 2: prepare the dough for fritters.


Add chopped green onions and wheat flour to the carrots, as well as an egg so that the pancakes are not too fresh. For airiness, put a baking powder in the dough. Well, of course, be sure to put salt and black pepper to taste. Mix everything very well so that the mass is homogeneous.

Step 3: fry the carrot pancakes.


Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and spread the carrot dough with a spoon or form round fritters from it with your hands (here proceed from how liquid the mass turned out). Fry for several minutes on each side so that the pancakes are covered with a golden brown.
After frying, put carrot pancakes on paper towels to remove excess fat.

Step 4: serve the carrot pancakes.


Serve carrot pancakes hot with sour cream or natural yogurt without additives. You can pick up any other sauce to your taste. It turns out a real merger. Both tasty and healthy. Suitable for the whole family.
