RECIPE PREPARATION Slices with sour milk, thyme and basil:
- Prepare, weigh the quantities given to the ingredient.
- First put sour milk, water, oil, sugar and salt in the pan of the bread machine.
- The fresh yeast is crushed and put on now.
- Add the flour and dry yeast.
- I kneaded on program no. 16 of the Tefal bread machine.
- After 20 minutes I added the dried herbs.
- After 1.15 hours I got a well-raised dough but which when kneaded seemed slightly sticky.
- I divided the dough into 4 approximately equal parts.
- I kneaded the dough with the flour on the table
- On the well-floured table I formed 4 loaves.
- The fritters are placed on the baking paper tray of the stove.
- I let the dough rise for 20 minutes.
- For another 20 minutes I put the tray in the oven at 60 degrees.
- On the bottom of the stove I put another tray with water that formed steam when baking the loaves.
- I baked the bagels for 35 minutes at 205 degrees ventilation [with steam].
- I stopped the fire, took out the tray with steaming water and left the bags like that until the evening when I returned home.
- My fritters with sour milk, thyme and basil are wonderful, they have a crust similar to homemade bread baked in a wood oven.
