Puff pastry with potatoes and mushrooms


  1. Puff pastry 1 pack (450-500 g)
  2. Mushrooms (champignons) 400 g
  3. Cooked potatoes 2-3 pcs
  4. Onion 1 head
  5. Hard cheese 60 g
  6. Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l
  7. Egg 1 pc. for lubrication
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Greens (parsley, dill) to taste
  10. Ground black pepper to taste

Remove the dough from the freezer, leave it to thaw at room temperature.
Wash the mushrooms, dry, cut into small cubes.
Fry chopped onions in a pan in vegetable oil until soft. Then add chopped mushrooms to the onion, mix, continue to fry until all the liquid has evaporated.
Grate boiled potatoes on a coarse grater, add to mushrooms, salt and pepper to taste.
Finely chop the greens and add to the pan, mix. Puff filling is ready!
Defrost puff pastry at room temperature. Then roll on a table 4-5 mm thick. Choose the shape of the puffs yourself, I love triangles (like samsa). You can cut circles, squares, etc.
Put 1 incomplete tablespoon of the filling on the dough, sprinkle with grated cheese on top.
Fasten the puffs. Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and lay the puffs on the paper. Grease each puff with a beaten egg. Put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes (until they turn golden).
