Sausage Soup


  1. Broth 1-1.5 liters
  2. Sausages 400-500 grams
  3. Potato several pieces optional
  4. Onion 2 pieces (large)
  5. Tomato paste 2-3 tablespoons
  6. Ketchup 2-3 tablespoons
  7. Hot pepper to taste
  8. Marjoram to taste
  9. Cloves to taste
  10. Bay leaf to taste

Step 1: prepare the broth.

Take soup or chicken for making soup. To cook it from scratch, you need meat on the bone or some parts of the chicken with skin, as well as onions and carrots. Put all this in a pan, add some universal spices and cook until the meat is ready. Vegetables after cooking the broth are thrown away, as you lose your taste.

Step 2: fry the sausages.

Cut the onion into small cubes and throw it in a skillet and fry in oil until soft.
Meanwhile, cut the sausages into thin circles and add them to the onion when it becomes transparent.
Fry everything together a little over low heat.

Step 3: add sausages to the broth.

If you want to add potatoes, first peel them, cut them into small cubes and cook them in the broth first.
When the potatoes are almost cooked (or if you cook the soup without it, then immediately) add tomato paste, ketchup, marjoram, pepper (black and hot), cloves and sausages with onions to the broth. Mix everything well. Warm up a little, remove from heat and let stand under the lid for several minutes to pour boiling water into plates.

Step 4: serve the sausage soup.

Serve soup with nipples for lunch. I will not say that this is a complete and healthy dish that is suitable for the whole family, but it is a great option if you do not have much time. And it is very tasty.
If you cooked soup without potatoes, serve it with pasta or an egg.
